π Is my data secure with OpenDucks IT?
Yes. All our services are hosted in GDPR-compliant data centers located in Germany or the EU. We apply strict security policies including encryption, network isolation, and access control. Security is not optional β it is built into our infrastructure.
π° Do you offer discounts for NGOs or students?
Absolutely. We believe in supporting good causes. NGOs and verified students receive up to 50% off our hosting and service plans. To receive a discount, please contact us with a proof of your status. Weβll review your request and apply the discount to your account.
π₯οΈ Can I migrate my existing services to OpenDucks IT?
Yes. We provide free migration assistance for most services, including email, websites, databases and even whole virtual servers. We'll handle the heavy lifting while you relax.
π¨ What support options do you offer?
All customers get access to email-based support. Priority and 24/7 support options are available with higher-tier plans. We also offer access to our ticket system.
β±οΈ What are your SLAs?
Each service has its own SLA. For example, game servers are guaranteed at 99.5% monthly uptime, while mail hosting offers 99.9%. SLAs also define support response times and include compensation clauses. View all SLAs here.
π§Ύ How do I receive invoices and manage my subscription?
Invoices are sent automatically via email and can also be downloaded from your client dashboard. You can cancel or modify your plan at any time via our self-service portal.
π Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. We donβt believe in lock-in. All monthly services can be cancelled any time within the same period. Annual plans and subscriptions are cancellable at the end of the term.
π¦ Do you offer custom packages or bundles?

π Do you support international customers?
Yes, we serve customers worldwide. All our services are available in English and German, and we accept payments in multiple currencies. Feel free to contact us if you have any specific needs.
Is there any age restriction on your products?
Yes, all customers must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our partner services for payment processing. Under certain circumstances, we may ask you to verify your age through our payment processor Stripe with your ID card or passport.
We will reach out to you, if this is necessary and will provide you with additional information.Why do you offer game servers with different player counts?
This is due to technical limitations. You can still upgrade your server even though you have choosen a different package. The packages represent the different amount of needed ressources to run a minimum of the number of players mentioned in the package name.
Why am I being charged "setup fees" for my product?
Certain products contain a setup fee, which is being resulted in us manually configuring your product due to technical limitations or your configuration and needs. The fee is charged a 5-7% total of the product prics. The service fee is displayed in the checkout process and is not refundable.
What payment providers do you support?
We currently support only support Paypal (Credit Card/Bank Account).
In the future we would like to support crypto currencies such as Bitcoin, Etherium, USDT, Myst and more.
Myst support will be launched in Q4 2025.
